F9 Calcium and Efflorescence Remover is breakthrough in the restoration and cleaning industry. F9 Calcium and Efflorescence Remover is a user friendly, full 31.45% strength muriatic acid replacement. This product combines a buffered, pleasant smelling acid along with an excellent soaping capability to work better at lower concentrations. F9 Calcium and Efflorescence Remover gives the user the advantage of a full strength product while greatly reducing fuming and corrosion, thereby improving overall health and safety risk profile.

Uses:
Concrete and Masonry: Use to clean efflorescence and calcium. At stronger concentrations, use to etch concrete in preparation for painting or coatings. At diluted ratios, use as a general cleaner. Removes excess mortar from brick and mud stains. 

Application instructions:
Always Add Acid to Water, NOT Water to Acid

Pre-Cleaning: If necessary, power wash surface to be cleaned using a commercial grade pressure washer, degreaser and surface cleaner to remove oil and debris. An alkaline concrete cleaner may be used. Rinse well. Cleaning the concrete first will remove loose dirt and debris, clearing the path for better cleaning.

Cleaning Instructions: 
For Concrete, Brick, Paver, Grout & Masonry 

1. Add 1 part F9 Calcium and Efflorescence Remover to proper ratio of water

(Since F9 has many uses, it is up to the Applicator to determine proper dilution ratios. F9 can be applied straight up to a 12:1 dilution). Always pour cold water into the bucket first, then add product. Always test first to confirm compatibility and desired strength. THIS CAN ETCH MASONRY. ALWAYS TEST FIRST!

2. Mist surface with water so it is damp, but not puddling.

3. Spray product on surface to be cleaned using a pump up sprayer, hand held sprayer or the F9 Hand Carry Electric Sprayer. Surface should foam immediately. Let dwell 20 seconds to 3 minutes. Do not let product dry.

4. Scrub surface as necessary with a hard bristled brush or broom. Let dwell another 1-15 minutes. Neutralize surface. Power wash with fan tip or surface cleaner if needed. Do not let product dry.

5. Analyze results, repeat application if needed and adjust dilution according to desired results. 

6. Several mild individual applications are better than one overpowering dose. Always pressure wash and flush the surface after application

Coverage on Porous Surfaces: One gallon of F9 Efflorescence and Calcium Remover covers 200-400′ of porous masonry and up to 1,200′ of sealed or non-porous masonry. Application rates will vary depending on the amount of staining, porosity of the substrate and if the surface was sealed. 

Suitable Substrates: F9 Efflorescence and Calcium Remover can be used on a variety of surfaces, including concrete, bricks, pavers, limestone, sandstone, riverstone, exposed aggregate, stucco, shingles, EIFS, glass, synthetic stone, anodized aluminum, unpolished marble and other surfaces.

Unsuitable Substrates: May not be suitable for polished or glazed surfaces. Not for use on metallic or other synthetic coatings or films. Do not use on acrylic and polycarbonate sheet glazing. Always perform a test to ensure compatibility. 

Always test a small area first to confirm compatibility.

 

F9 Double Eagle Cleaner, Degreaser, Neutralizer

Multipurpose Cleaner, Degreaser and Neutralizer

For: Oil, Hydrocarbon, Food Stains, Tiremarks, General Surface Accumulations. Do not use on Asphalt.

For use on Concrete, Bricks, Pavers, Tile, Stone, Grout Masonry Hard Surfaces and most surfaces in general. Great for food grease, oils, dumpster pads, loading docks, gas stations, parking garages, tire marks and general cleaning of many surfaces.

Very Heavily Soiled Surfaces: Straight

Heavily Soiled Surfaces: 1:1 to 5:1

Lightly Soiled Surfaces: 20:1

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Direct Application: Pump Sprayer, Electric or Air Diaphram Spray System.

Dilution will depend on how dirty the area is. Product may be diluted 5:1 to 20:1. Spray on, dwell 2-15 minutes. Manually agitate heavy areas or use floor tool. Surface clean after. Hot water preferred, cold water ok.

Downstream Application: Use a downstream injection system capable of giving you the correct dilution rate for the circumstances. Spray on, dwell 2-15 minutes. Manually agitate heavy areas or use floor tool. Surface clean after. Hot water preferred, cold water ok.

X-Jet Application: Dilute product to give you the correct dilution rate for the circumstances. Spray on, dwell 2-15 minutes. Manually agitate heavy areas or use floor tool. Surface clean after. Hot water preferred, cold water ok.

Note: If areas are extremely soiled, use a 175 floor tool with extra-aggressive mal-grit to agitate.

HOW TO USE AS A NEUTRALIZER

General Neutralizing: 8:1. Spray on surface to be neutralized. Broom in if necessary. Rinse or surface clean. Make stronger to bring final pH of discharge up. Make weaker if you need to adjust final pH down. Always check wastewater to make sure final discharge pH is correct for City BMP’s.

F9 Groundskeeper 

 

F9 Groundskeeper is a high performance maintenance cleaner to use after your initial degreasing, pre-cleaning or just hot water washing. It is a buffered low pH product that will continue to brighten the surface and deep clean the surface every time it is applied. Unlike high PH products, the surfaces cleaned will stay cleaner longer and not get as dirty over time. This means you will use less product to clean the surface and at the same time increase your workspeed on the job. So, save money on product, the surface stays cleaner longer and you save time on the job. Great combo!

Pre-Cleaning: F9 GroundsKeeper (F9 GK) is a highly concentrated cleaner to use after your initial cleaning/degreasing. If existing oil and hydrocarbon stains are present, it is recommended to clean those stains with F9 Double Eagle Degreaser first. Once you can see the concrete pores below the stain then apply F9 GK to surface (at recommended dilution ratio) and surface clean. This will get the concrete set up for maintenance cleaning with F9 Groundskeeper.

 

Dilution Ratios (Water to Product):

For Use on Concrete, Bricks, Pavers, Most Tile, Stone, Grout and Masonry Hard Surfaces.

 

Initial Cleaning: 8:1 to 10:1. Pre-wet surface with water and spray on. Use more concentrated for heavily soiled areas and less concentrated for less soiled areas. Always surface clean after application.

 

Maintenance Cleaning: 10:1 to 20:1. Pre-wet surface with water and spray on. Use more concentrated for heavily soiled areas and less concentrated for less soiled areas. Always surface clean after application.

 

Cleaning Instructions:

Dilute F9 Maintenance Cleaner at recommended dilution ratios (Water to Product). Always add product to water, NOT water into product! Dilution will depend on how dirty the areas are. Product may be diluted up to 20:1. Dwell 2-10 minutes and surface clean. Brushing may be useful on stubborn areas.

 

Downstream Application

Downsream application is OK, but make sure final dilution of product is 10:1 up to 20:1 to meet dilution guidelines above.

 

CAUTION! Never use F9 Groundskeeper undiluted or get undiluted product on porous surfaces. F9 Groundskeeper may etch surfaces at strong dilutions. ALWAYS perform a test to confirm compatibility.


F9 BARC Rust and Oxidation Remover

  • Instructions To Clean Rust, Orange Battery Stains and Fertilizer Stains From Concrete:
  • 1. Pre-Cleaning: Power wash concrete using a commercial grade pressure washer, degreaser and surface cleaner. An alkaline concrete cleaner may be used. Rinse well. Cleaning the concrete first will open up the pores of the concrete and allow F9 BARC to soak in deeper and remove more of the orange battery stain than just applying F9 BARC alone.
  • 2. After initial pre-cleaning, let the concrete dry completely.
  • 3. USING A 1:2 DILUTION RATIO (1 PART WATER TO 2 PARTS F9 BARC) apply F9 BARC through pump up sprayer liberally and evenly to the entire pad of concrete. Do not “spot spray” on your first application. Use a circular overlapping spray motion. Spray from one side of the concrete pad to the other using a fine mist up to a uniform spray. High pressure low volume at 60-70 psi is recommended. Apply from control joint to control joint on the entire pad of concrete. Apply a bit more product on the areas with more staining. Apply as evenly and as thick as possible without letting F9 BARC run down the concrete. If F9 BARC does run down the concrete leave it alone. F9 BARC should begin to turn white and foam slightly.
  • 4. Let concrete dry. Stains will disappear as concrete dries.
  • 5. If spots remain follow directions in #3 again. If not, proceed to #7. It is better to go heavier on the first application and lighter on the second application. On the second application you may use less product on the areas with less staining and more product on the areas with stains remaining. It is acceptable to mist-spray on this application.
  • 6. Let concrete dry. Stains will disappear as concrete dries.
  • 7. A natural by-product of the reaction of this product and the concrete are light and dark mineral salts. Wet the concrete with water to reactivate the F9 cleaner. While wet, lightly broom the concrete to help F9 penetrate the concrete even deeper. Do not let concrete dry. Rinse LIGHTLY with a pressure washer to remove remaining surfactant. Do not use a surface cleaner here. Allow concrete to dry completely and evaluate results.
  • Instructions To Clean Various Substrates:
  • Non-Porous Substrates
    Sealed Concrete, Concrete Coatings, Clay Pavers, Tile, Painted Metal, Aluminum (not polished or chrome), Stainless Steel, Interior Pools and surfaces that do not allow water to penetrate. Dilute F9 BARC 2:1 (two parts Water to 1 part F9. This makes 3 gallons of F9 from 1 gallon of concentrate. Spray a rate of 400 – 800 ft. per gallon. A light brushing with a soft or medium truck brush may be required. Do not let F9 Dry and rinse immediately following disappearance of stain.

    Semi Porous Substrates
    Stucco, Plastic, Vinyl, Asphalt, Stone and others. Dilute F9 1:1 to 2:1. Spray at a rate of 400 – 800 ft. per gallon. Do not let product dry and rinse immediately following disappearance of stain.

    Porous Substrates
    Concrete, Bricks and Pavers. Require a heavier concentration due to porosity and the need for deeper penetration. Dilute F9 1:2 (1 part water to 2 parts F9). Spray at a rate of 400 – 800 ft. per gallon. This applications requires F9 to DRY INTO the concrete and lock in. Follow instructions listed on product and watch all F9 videos before application.

    Always Apply F9 through a Pump-Up Sprayer or the F9 Hand-Carry Electric Applicator Sprayer.
